Change Inspires Vision & Clarity

“In The Waves Of Change We Find Direction” ~ Change………..a word often feared, avoided and shunned by many!!! More times than not it brings with it a level of discomfort. And, while it is often rejected…..when accepted change can bring about wonderful things.

We are all creatures of habit wanting to remain in our comfort zone and what we are used to. But, then, change comes along……often “rocking our world” turning things upside down! Our first emotions are frustration, disappointment even devastation. But, most often, when the dust settles we see things set before us, new paths that often lead us in NEW exciting directions we never even imagined!

Well, I had one of those “earth-shattering” experiences today with my Facebook account. To some this might sound trivial, but, Facebook has been MY PLACE….MY MOST ENGAGING BUSINESS SPACE!!! Ironically on the same date 6 years ago was the day, I created this account for my then “NEW” Business Page for Simply Elegant Events By Kim. This was the date, I decided to take my hobby to a full-fledged Business! Well, today, Dec 1, 2020 - Everything CRASHED!!! I lost all Admin rights to my Facebook page, which includes access to EVERY Conversation and Contact, I’ve had since being on Facebook in 2014! Yes, I was a bit distraught at first! But, once the dust begin to settle…………………………….This change thrust me into exploring some things, I never would have.

Today, Dec 6th, after being FORCED to explore some things…….I found some NEW systems that are going to add so much more to my business than I could have ever imagined. Thank you FACEBOOK for forcing me to “chart a new course” and “explore new options”………I would have NEVER done this if it had not been for this CHANGE!!!
